StencilSnap (stencilsnap.com) is operated by Askgto LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Your photos stay on your device
When you use the tool, your photo is processed entirely in your web browser. Your photos and the stencils you make are never uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see them.
So you can pick up where you left off, your browser saves your most recent photo and settings on your own device. You can remove it at any time by clicking "New photo" or by clearing your browser's data for this site.
Information we collect
- Purchases. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe sends us your email address, the plan you bought, the amount, and the date, which we keep to unlock your purchase and for our records.
- Purchase cookie. After you pay or restore a purchase, we set a small cookie that tells our server which email address bought the unlock. It contains no other personal data and is not used for tracking.
- Restore emails. If you ask us to restore a purchase, we use your email address to send you a sign-in link through our email provider, Resend.
- Anonymous usage statistics. We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count visits and a few actions (such as uploads, downloads, and checkouts). It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across other websites.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
How we use it
We use this information only to provide the service: to process payments, unlock and restore purchases, answer your questions, prevent fraud, and meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run the site for us: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and security), Resend (email), and Umami (anonymous analytics). They process the data on our behalf. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase records for as long as needed to provide your unlock and to meet tax and accounting requirements, generally up to 7 years. Restore links expire after 30 minutes.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing support@stencilsnap.com. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, the UK, or California), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them. Some purchase records may need to be kept for legal reasons.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
